While at Harvard Business School, a client desired to move from engineering to management consulting.
He specifically wanted to secure an offer from the most prestigious management consulting firm.
With a new positioning we co-developed, he secured a position at his target firm and negotiated his placement
at a branch office that had not been hiring.
A software developer believed she should have been promoted as her colleagues were. She had good reviews
and liked her current employer, but couldn't be sure she had distinguished herself. She defined what
made her valuable to her current employer and what she liked about the company. She then secured a
higher level position in a competitive firm. She used this as evidence of her value, and leveraged that into a
promotion at her current firm.
Another client was laid off, and then decided to figure out what he wanted to do for the next couple of decades.
After conducting a full career assessment, he was able to define a career field he believed would fulfill
him for the rest of his work life. After some interim employment, he secured a fast track position in his desired field.
